Free learning resources accompany the show designed to be independently delivered by teachers. The resources link to several curriculum areas and include activities to enable children to:
- Reflect on the performance, characters and key story moments
- Explore important themes (loneliness, inclusion)
- Explore telling their own stories and creating their own performances
- Support curriculum literacy and oracy objectives

Leeds Central Library has a drop off area for coaches, a staff welcome on arrival, an escort to the Room 700 performance space, an area to wait before and after the show, a place in the Children’s Library for eating packed lunches, first aid facilities and accessible toilets next to the performance space.
Access
- The library is fully accessible by wheelchair
- All performances of The Elves and The Storyteller are ‘relaxed’, with no sudden noises or black out lighting
- A visual story and introductory audio notes are both available in advance of the production
- BSL interpreted performances are available – please contact us to arrange
- The Elves and The Storyteller has creatively integrated audio description throughout
